NovaPED S90 carbon edition - A new age
Across Germany, the insole remains the most widespread form of aid. Around 18 % of the population – so 11.6 million people in Germany – wear insoles. Furthermore, many patients would like to own a second or third pair of insoles so that they can fit them into several pairs of shoes. (Source: eurocom e. V.)

Reason enough for us to reformat recognised supply concepts and to supplement these with a cutting-edge material: carbon.

Carbon fibres are industrially manufactured fibres made of carbonaceous raw materials with very high stability and rigidity, as well as low elongation at break. The finest carbon fibres are woven into a mesh and saturated in a liquid resin mixture. Through pressure and temperature, a composite is created for the highest quality and performance requirements that is already successfully used in aviation and aerospace technology, as well as the automobile and sports equipment industries.

We have taken advantage of the outstanding material properties to construct our NovaPED S90 carbon orthopaedic foot supports. They can therefore meet demands that are particularly significant for several indications.

The manufacture of the carbon mesh is very elaborate because it responds extremely sensitively to external influences in its unprocessed form and only has a limited shelf life. In addition, the geometry of the mesh structure plays a decisive role during the production process in terms of its stability and elasticity.

Its unusual properties are characteristic of carbon, and no other material can offer this combination.
The combination of carbon and our S90 insole technology provides several advantages:

Thanks to their special design and integrated carbon, they perfectly adapt to the requirements of office and business shoes. The integrated carbon provides additional stability, flexibility and lightness, further enhancing comfort.

Compensation insole

The Novaped S90 Carbon compensation insole is specifically designed to complement the Novaped Carbon insole series. Its unique construction and manufacturing provide an ideal addition for precise fitting. When unilateral indication support is required, the appropriate compensation insole ensures optimal support. The design is specifically adapted to the respective indication models.
