New corrective socks for flat feet and pes valgus

Flat feet and pes valgus are the most common foot deformities. They are characterised by the buckling of the heel and the flattening of the arches. This pushes the forefoot outwards so that it is no longer pointing in the direction of movement, which can result in further problems in the knees and hips.

These corrective socks for flat feet and pes valgus, which have been based on the latest biomechanical findings and made using cutting-edge manufacturing techniques, help to provide effective support to the foot and to correct the gait. The integrated tapes help to reposition the heel and also to bring the ball of the big toe into better contact with the ground.

From 15 to 18 May 2018, it will offer its national and international trade visitors the unique combination of a global conference and leading industry fair.

Dubai
Arab Health

As in recent years, we once again stopped off in Dubai to present our products at the Arab Health trade fair from 29 January to 1 February. The trade fair is the leading international healthcare event in the Middle East and offers the ideal environment for presenting our innovative products in one of the fastest-growing and most lucrative healthcare markets in the world. This year, we exhibited alongside our partner, zebris Medical GmbH.

On 19 October 2017, we welcomed 20 students from the Kobe College of Medical Welfare's Sanda campus to our headquarters in Remscheid.

After a brief introduction, the students enjoyed a presentation of the company and its products. Afterwards, they were given an insight into the individual steps of manufacturing inserts an in-depth tour. Following the tour, there was still a little time for a group photo.

Everyone agreed that the event went very well, with interesting presentations and conversations, where there was also time for a little fun.

Biathletes equipped with NovaPED sports inserts

As is tradition, our service team visited the World Cup venues of Oberhof and Antholz, where around 80 athletes from over 20 different countries were fitted with new NovaPED sports inserts.

This was done following an extensive gait analysis using our SCHEINWORKS measurement technology. The new NovaPED elements inserts were used for the first time, with simple welding methods used to apply corrections to the inserts.
