For the next update in the Apple Store and Google Play Store, we are integrating an additional service function for you.

Via the start screen, you will soon have the opportunity to choose between the familiar option of specifying the last, or the new addition of warehouse availability. This makes it easier to check the availability of our brands LucRo, my generation, Ortho Lady & Gent and actiflex. Just enter the model number you are looking for, select the desired width and/or size and our system will immediately show you the warehouse availability

With the help of your personal code, scheinonline#Kundennummer, you can activate this function as a retailer. You can switch the function on and off at any time in 'Settings'.

ORTHOPÄDIE SCHUH TECHNIK is the only specialist trade fair in Europe for the sector. The significance of this event is reflected by the continually rising number of attendees from Germany and abroad. The range of exhibits is as broad as the industry itself and provides visitors with a comprehensive overview of the market. The congress and seminars add to the high-quality foot-related programme.

Biathlon season is here

It is said that Olympic medals for the Winter Games are forged in summer. With this in mind, biathlon competitors have already been in various training camps since May 2017 in order to prepare themselves for the highlight of the season.

Among other places, we visited various nations in Hochfilzen and Oberhof. On the basis of gait analyses, the majority of the Austrian national team received their new NovaPED sports insoles.

Biathlon legend Ole Einar Bjorndalen from Norway and his wife Darya Domracheva from Belarus were very happy to receive their new NovaPED exclusive flip-flops and individual sport insoles.

Into the new season with VC Eltmann

On 29.08.2017, the gait analysis at VC Eltmann volleyball club took place together with our NovaPED sports partner mannl + hauck, based in Haßfurt.

The aim for the season is to get through most matches without injury. In part thanks to the NovaPED sports insoles, the Eltmann players were able to become champions of the Bundesliga Süd second division without serious foot or gait complaints.

Unfortunately, they did not have the financial basis for promotion to the top division. Everyone is already excited to see how the new season turns out.

On 26.09.2017, OSM Gerhard Häfner from NovaPED sports partner mannl + hauck, based in Haßfurt, and our employee Norbert Christ handed over the new insoles to the second-division volleyball players of VC Eltmann during training.

We wish the entire team a successful and injury-free season as part of mission 'Promotion to Division 1'.

MEDsport Symposium

From 02.06.2017-03.06.2017, Schein was a guest in the beautiful city of Hradec Králové in the Czech Republic. Dr Miroslav Havrda, managing director of MEDsport and partner of Schein, offered an invitation to the tenth MEDsport Symposium on the topic of 'Human foot orthopaedics and the locomotor system'.

Well-known doctors from the Czech Republic, such as the orthopaedist Dr Bartoníček, as well as doctors Vacek and Krobot (rehabilitation), held talks on two days on topics including neurosurgery, Morton's neuroma and foot anatomy. The 185 attendees from numerous countries were clearly impressed and very interested.

We, as the main sponsor, completed the programme with presentations about the possibilities of individual insole provision with the help of the S-90 insole technology and talks on the importance of additional measurement technology, patient anamnesis and subsequent care or monitoring. To this end, pressure measurements and gait analyses of various people were carried out on-site and analysed live.

There was also a practical demonstration of how our S-90 orthopaedic foot supports can be simply and individually adjusted without time-consuming adhesion - with the help of NovaPED elements in different materials and Shore hardnesses.

The physiotherapists, podiatrists and doctors present praised the programme and variety of topics at the symposium. We are already looking forward to the next edition in 2021!
