NovaPED ESD insoles have been especially certified by an official testing institute for demanding requirements in combination with safety shoes. To mark the beginning of the new year, we would like to inform you about a few changes in this field.

Firstly, with E/D/E Einkaufsbüro Deutscher Eisenhändler (Association of German Hardware Dealers) and Engelbert Strauss (range of safety shoes, e.s.) we have gained two new cooperating partners. The NovaPED ESD insole system is now tested in combination with selected safety shoes from the following companies:

Secondly, the cover material 'Cambrell' has been replaced with the material 'ARU X-static ESD'. The first type tests with the new material have already been successfully completed. Additional certifications are to follow. All insoles which it was possible to cover with the old cover material can also continue to be used without a cover.

With 86,000 m² of exhibition space, more than 2,837 exhibitors from more than 75 countries (incl. 37 official country pavilions) and more than 78,000 trade visitors, the 2012 Arab Health trade fair ensured a sensational start to the medical technology trade fairs all over the world. During the four-day trade fair, more than 450 German-speaking companies (from Germany, Austria and Switzerland) showcased their products, innovations and services to trade visitors both within and outside of the country pavilions. In this year, the World Congress of the International Society for Prosthetics and Orthotics (ISPO), which takes place every three years, is taking place in Hyderabad (India). The international congress, which features an accompanying exhibition, is geared towards orthopaedic technicians, orthopaedic shoe technicians, rehabilitation technicians, specialist dealers, engineers, doctors and therapists from all over the world. Here, they can find out about the latest innovations and developments within the prosthetics and orthopaedics sectors. In addition to the ISPO and its national societies, further renowned industry associations from both India and abroad are supporting the specialist event.

The EXPOLIFE international trade fair, from 11 - 13 April 2013, is an event where exhibitors and international visitors get to meet. They don't only use the show to find out about new products and supply opportunities, they are also able to seal deals and initiate post trade fair business.

This year, entrance to the fair is free to visitors once again, and parking is also free.
We will be presenting our products and innovations at a shared stand in hall 1-2. Opening times: Thursday/Friday 9.00 am to 5.00 pm, Saturday 10.00 am to 5.00 pm.

The in-house stamping unit is where the plates and wedge strips are designed according to the customers' requirements. A special service is the configuration of the individual milling blank. You can individually determine the material combinations, colours, thicknesses and the shape of the blanks. Once the composition is finished it is then possible to produce a sample, before the material is then produced in higher quantities. The Weltcup (world cup event) in Hochfilzen from 05.-09.12.2012 finally saw winter make its first appearance. Conditions for the athletes were excellent, with substantial falls of snow and some stunning sunshine.

After stays in several training camps during the summer, one of our service teams was also on location this time around to supply the sportsmen and women with NovaPED sports insoles.

Everyone was excited about the results of the German athletes in 'year one' after Magdalena Neuner. The race went well. Miriam Gössner was able to secure her position in the top 10. A few too many misses, however, prevented her from taking to the winners' podium in Hochfilzen. Miriam Gössner was able to celebrate her first victory of the season. We wish her every success for the future.

In Hochfilzen we were able to welcome 30 sportsmen and women from 12 different countries to our service container. After a comprehensive gait analysis with the SCHEINWORKS measurement and analysis system, the specialist insoles were individually adapted.

We will next be supplying the world cups in Oberhof and Antholz (www.biathlon-online.de).

We will also be attending the WM (world championship) in Nove Mesto (CZE) and the JWM (junior world championship) in Obertilliach (Austria).
