Another version of the NovaPED business insole is now available. On adjustment to modern shoe shapes such as the chisel toe, it is important to retain the known comfort of the NovaPED business insoles in elegant shoes as well. To ensure sufficient toe space, a short sole version of this model is now also available.

Another version of the NovaPED sports insoles are also now available. The stiffening component was reworked to improve the dynamic stability and support of the running insoles. To relieve or even prevent problems with stress on the outer edge in runners, the NovaPED sports running is also available with an integrated raised outer edge.

Since June, we have been offering an additional new module in the SCHEINWORKS measuring technique.

Update:
The previous SCHEINWORKS software could only be used on 32-bit computers. The update means that 64-bit computers can now be used as well. Please remember when you use the new software that the current system requirements must be observed. Not all 32/64-bit computers can meet these requirements.
As well as the tried and tested options for stance and gait analysis and the associated reports the update contains, as a standard feature, a one-minute demo version of the Virtual Forest Trail and a revised database with new look.

• Full version of the Virtual Forest Trail (for safety reasons this module is not activated with the smallest treadmill (FDT-TLR))
• The SCHEINWORKS DigiPED or external scanner can be controlled via the same software
• The pressure images can easily be superimposed on the scanned foot
• Step projection: the individual gait pattern is projected onto the treadmill via the beamer. The gait pattern can be changed by the software so that a new gait profile is easy to follow and learn (e. g. after trauma or amputation).

Various innovations have been introduced at the fair ORTHOPÄDIE + REHA-TECHNIK 2012 in Leipzig.

As well as new colours and types of leather, you now have the option of covering the tread section with various materials. This increases the number of possible colour combinations once again and increases them by a high number of options. You have a free choice in six different areas to obtain an individual and personal thong sandal.

In addition, the NovaPED exclusive can be ordered and produced with a standard foot bed from now onwards. It is still up to you to choose how you combine the colours. You need to tell us the size, belt width and outline. We provide transparent templates for determining the correct size. The templates are available in two widths and correspond to the original size and width.

In future, the Ruckgaber catalogue will be available in two languages. The third part of the revised catalogue "ARU covering and lining materials" makes a start on this. Ruckgaber offers a range of covering and lining materials especially for constructing insoles and foot bed. The properties of the materials are described in detail and supplemented by images showing examples of their use. The materials can generally be supplied by the running metre or on rolls.

Directly after Orthopaedics + Rehabilitation Technique in Leipzig, we welcomed 60 customers from abroad to the 3rd seminar at schein in our headquarters in Remscheid. Some visitors had taken the opportunity of combining the fair with our seminar and travelled on to Remscheid immediately afterwards. Well-known speakers on orthopaedics, including experts from Iceland and the USA, inspired our guests with interesting topics. We were particularly pleased when Nancy Hylton from Seattle spontaneously accepted our invitation. By chance, she was in Germany at the same time and immediately agreed to give a lecture. Insoles, measurement technique and diabetes care were the topic of conversation and discussion for two days.

This year's trade fair ORTHOPÄDIE + REHA-TECHNIK 2012 in Leipzig, which registered about 19,500 visitors from 93 countries in total, was a complete success. The schein group of companies presented their wide range of products at a large stand. Over 37 percent of visitors were from abroad, as were almost half of the 537 companies exhibiting at the world's leading trade fair.

The stand shone out in time for summer in the most flamboyant of colours, just like the possible new combinations in the NovaPED exclusive collection.
The crowds of visitors had the chance to be impressed not only with our new designs but also with our technical innovations such as the SCHEINWORKS Software and the new SCHEINWORKS DigiPED Scanner.
