The international trade fair EXPOLIFE will be opening its gates again in Kassel/Germany, from March 31st to April 2nd 2011, for healthcare, rehabilitation, orthopaedic technology, as well as to retail dealers for orthopaedic shoe technology. As usual, the EXPOLIFE '11 will offer numerous additional extras to exhibitors and visitors with an extensive master program of lectures and workshops. Entrance to the EXPOLIFE will be free for the visitors as in previous years. Schein Orthopaedic Service, Ruckgaber Orthopaedic Service and ATeC Shoes will be exhibiting their products at a joint booth in Hall 1/2.

From 09 to 10 September 2011, the Orthopaedic Shoe Technology Fair in Wiesbaden will be expecting the Schein Group. This new branch trade fair will take place the for the first time combined with a specialist conference in Wiesbaden. This has created a central meeting place for healthcare craftsmanship and orthopaedic shoe technology. Many reputable exhibitors have already registered. We invite you to join this supraregional branch meeting in the field of orthopaedic shoe technology.

On the last weekend in February, the "seminar at schein" was held for the second time - entirely in English.
50 people came to Remscheid for the event, whereby the participants from Australia and Canada had to make the longest trip. It was also our privilege to welcome participants from Greece, Albania, Cyprus, England and Belgium.
The themes presented and discussed in the space of two days were "Measurement", "Sensomotor System" and "ICP Care Options". We were particularly pleased about the commitment from Nancy Hylton from Seattle, who in a lively lecture presented the use of dynamic orthoses in ICP. Dr. Dirk Schraeder from Bad Lippspringe, OSM Robert Haimes from Grafing and movement analyst Dirk van Dongen from Belgium completed the team of speakers.
In the breaks between the lectures, and at the shared evening event on Friday evening, there was plenty of time for interesting personal conversations.
An English seminar is planned once again for next year to encourage and enhance the international exchange of ideas.
